Redbridge Ladies FC is a local club with the interests and welfare of the players as our first priority. In April 2007 the club confirmed its continual development by achieving FA charter standard.
In 2009/10 Redbridge runs the following teams:
Under 11s, Under 12s, Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s, Under 18s and Under 16s and Ladies team.
For Under 13 level, we will have two teams
Unlike the younger teams, Under 13s play nine-a-side on a large pitch with up to five rolling substitutes, the games are 30 minutes each way and the offside rule applies.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
