Redbridge started the game well by taking an early lead when Rai first through the Southend defence to slot home her first goal of the season.This was soon added to by Wakeham .Southend fourt back well and at half time the scores were level at two a piece.Redbridge started the second half at a blistering pace, which payed off when bennett sloted the ball ito the back off the net from a mcbride corner.bennett had the chance to put redbridge further ahead from the spot when sge struck a superb shot at the left hand top corner which looked to all the world to be going in but for a first class save by the southend goal keeper.Southend equalized and with just a few minuets were awarded a penelty which they scored to make it 4-3.redbridge fought on with time against them were unable to score.but all in all this was a first class performance by the redbridge girls as it was their first game for five weeks.
